As part of the launch of the new livery for the 2012 Ducati Desmosedici GP12, Ducati have posted a short video for those who don’t want to watch the full 45 minute replay of the launch event.

Two different sources indicate that Volkswagen owned Audi is in the final stages of talks to purchase Ducati from current owners Investindustrial according to Bloomberg.

Valentino Rossi put his disappointing MotoGP season with Ducati behind him in taking his Ford Fiesta RS to second place behind 8 time World Rally Champion Sébastien Loeb in the Monza Rally. Loeb captured the Marco Simoncelli Trophy which was awarded to the winner of the final stage.
