Last year’s Pikes Peak winner, Carlin Dunne has qualified fastest for Sunday’s race ahead of 2 other Ducati Multistrada 1200s. Second fastest was team mate and multiple winner Greg Tracy with Bruno Langlois of France in 3rd.

Putting a Ducati into a music video is always a good idea and choosing a 1974 Ducati 750SS is a great one. That’s what Australian quintet Dappled Cities chose for their music video for ‘Run with the Wind’, a single from their forthcoming fourth studio album. Ducati’s massive World Ducati Week 2012 got under way yesterday with thousands of riders from all over the world arriving at the Italian manufacturer’s mega-event at the Misano World Circuit in Misano Adriatico. Carlos Checa got a chance to test the World Superbike spec Ducati 1199 Panigale.

Final preparations are being made for the official opening of the seventh edition of World Ducati Week this Thursday, with the biggest Ducati event worldwide ready to rock-n-roll at the Misano World Circuit during the day, and on the Adriatic Riviera during the night from 21-24 June.
