Larry Pegram has confirmed that his relationship with Ducati racebikes has come to an end in a press release. Pegram took race victories and podiums in the DMG American Superbike series over the last 2 seasons on the Team Foremost Insurance / Pegram Racing Ducati 1198R.

Larry Pegram is putting his pair of factory Ducati 1198F08 Superbikes on the market immediately following the final round of the 2010 AMA Pro Superbike series at Barber Motorsports Park later this month. The price? $100,000 each.

The 2010 AMA Pro American Superbike season continued on from the first Daytona Superbike race with the first 4 bikes finishing within 2/10ths of a second. The full results are after the jump.

The 2010 AMA Pro American Superbike season got off to a great start yesterday with the running of the first race at Daytona, Florida. The racing was close and the first 5 riders were separated by just 3/10ths of a second.

Larry Pegram will start the first American Superbike race of the 2010 season from the front row after the Team Foremost Ducati 1198R rider qualified 2nd behind Jordan Suzuki’s Aaron Yates.

Team Foremost Larry Pegram‘s Ducati 1198R set the pace during the first practice session today at Daytona for the opening round of the 2010 America Superbike Championship. Pegram lapped the circuit in a 1:40.280 just ahead of Josh Hayes on the factory Yamaha.

This year, no fewer than eight teams will race Ducati at the season opener of the AMA Pro road racing series at Daytona International Speedway.
