Motorcycle News has conducted a back to back braking test of a new 2010 Ducati Monster 1100 ABS against a Ducati Monster 1100S without ABS and the results surprised and humbled their experienced road tester John Westlake. Video after the jump.
Following a number of new and revised model announcements at the EICMA show, Ducati has now announced when US customers can expect to be able to take delivery. The almost unchanged Monsters, new Hypermotard EVO and updated Superbike range arrive first in February.
The biggest change to the Ducati Monster was the addition of optional ABS for both the 696 and 1100 models. A number of other minor changes have been made to keep the Monster range fresh for 2010.
Ahead of the opening of the EICMA Milan show, Ducati has unveiled it’s 2010 model range. The Ducati Multistrada 1200 takes pride of place but new “Corse” livery 1198S & R special editions, a lighter and 100bhp Hypermotard 1100 Evo, an 848 Dark and ABS on the Monster family also feature.
