Il Ducatista magazine has a spy shot of what appears to be the first liquid cooled, 4 valve Ducati Hypermotard, with an 848 engine .

In 2009, then Ducati Superbike racer Larry Pegram thought it would be fun to enter a Ducati Hypermotard powered flat tracker in the Indy Mile.  Now its for sale and could be yours if you have a spare 15 grand.

A one make series utilizing Ducati Hypermotard 796 motorcycles will run alongside the Italian Supermoto Championship this year.  The series organized by Youthstream events in collaboration with Ducati will run at 5 rounds of the championship on the tarmac only section of the track.
