The Ducati Diavel is already one fast performance cruiser scoot but the folks at Commonwealth motorcycles wanted a winter project and well, wouldn’t it be better with a turbocharger?

Ducati North America has announced 2011 motorcycle sales growth of 43 percent compared to 2010 and a record market share in all of it’s territories: US, Canada and Mexico. This result established North America as Ducati’s number one market for the first time ever.

Accomplished Stunt Meister Micha Threin participated in the various shows during World Ducati Week 2010. Now he has turned his attention to the Ducati Diavel as a stunting platform. Check out the video after the break.

Taking a leaf out of their Monster play book from 1998, Ducati have today announced the return of the Cromo nameplate for the 2012 Ducati Diavel Cromo. This new addition brings the Diavel range to 4 models.

Ducati must have been nervous as they introduced the Diavel this year, the model most distant from its sportbike roots. It turns out they needn’t have worried with more than 1,000 sold in the US so far this year with the great majority of buyers coming from other brands.

Australian celebrity chef and owner of ARIA restaurants, Matt Moran, excitedly took delivery of his Ducati Diavel late last week at his Sydney home. The longtime Ducati owner will become a Ducati Ambassador.
