Althea Racing today took the opportunity to officially present its 2012 World Superbike outfit and champion riders to sponsors and members of the press.

2011 World Superbike Champion, Carlos Checa, has concluded that Bridgestone tires are to blame for the woeful 2011 MotoGP season suffered by Ducati factory riders Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden.  After testing the MotoGP racer, Carlos has stated that he believes the tires and not the chassis are the problem.

Having re-signed 2011 World Superbike Champion, Carlos Checa, just hours before his contract was due to expire, Althea Racing has now confirmed their relationship with the Spaniard and announced that he will have a team mate in FIM Superstock champion Davide Giugliano.
