The Ducati Test Team finished a three-day test today at Spain’s Circuito de Jerez. As usual, the activities were led by Filippo Preziosi, who followed the work schedule carried out by official test rider Franco Battaini.

MotoGP points leader Casey Stoner fresh from dishing the dirt on his former employer had another ‘press friendly’ moment during this week’s Mugello test session. After an on track clash with Ducati mounted MotoGP rookie Karel Abraham which left marks on both machines, the pair took it to the pits with a heated exchange.

Valentino Rossi battled a still recalcitrant Ducati and his slowly recovering shoulder to take 7th place in his Ducati MotoGP debut at Losail, Qatar on Sunday. In what was a disappointing day for Ducati fans both Pramac Ducatis went out early whilst Nicky Hayden finished 9th.

Valentino Rossi’s chief engineer, Jeremy Burgess has cautioned the naysayers who were disappointed in the results of the Italian’s first outing on the Ducati MotoGP racer at the recent Valencia post season test. Rossi ended the test 15th fastest and second slowest Ducati ahead of only rookie Karel Abraham.
