Later next month Ducati will begin selling the 848 EVO, a revised and enhanced version of its middleweight Superbike with a number of improvements for the 2011 model year with more power and better brakes, all at the same price.

Four-time World Champion Doug Polen will race Ducshop Racing’s Ducati 848 at Mid Ohio’s AMA Superbike round in Lexington, Ohio July 17 & 18. The two-time World Superbike and two-time World Endurance champion will compete in the Pro Daytona Sportbike races, replacing Jake Holden who recently joined the M4 Monster Energy Suzuki team.
