We have written before about the business bomb that was the Ducati 999 which was rapidly replaced with the highly successful 1098/1198 series of Superbikes.  There is one area however where the 999 range reigns supreme.  Surprisingly it is in racing.

Whilst clicking around on the New Zealand equivalent of eBay (trademe), I came across this very optimistic listing for a used 2010 Ducati 1198R Corse SE. The price? $1,000,000. No its not April 1st.
