As an Apple aficionado I’ve longed noticed how often Ducati fans are also Apple fans. Now I’ve got the server logs to prove it. The Redux series is all about bringing back blasts from the past that our newer readers may not have caught first time around. Here are some ways that Ducati is Like Apple.
When I first started this site back in 2009, one of the first posts was about the things I have grown to love about Ducati. For the sake of convenience I left it at 10, but I no doubt could have gone on. For sure, one of the top 10 comes from the shared passion for the brand amongst Ducatisti.

Nicky Hayden’s winter vacation was marred on Tuesday, December 27, when he broke his left scapula and fractured two ribs while training near his home in Owensboro, Kentucky. Hayden was training at a private indoor flat track facility, riding a motorcycle for the first time since breaking his scaphoid at the Valencia Grand Prix on November 6.

Ducati is opening subscription for the 2012 Ducati Riding Experience (DRE) events, the riding courses suitable for all levels, from absolute beginner to race track specialist. 2011 saw the introduction of the Troy Bayliss Academy and, by overwhelming demand, the 3-times World Superbike Champion and global racing icon returns for 2012 for his advanced track courses aboard the brand new Ducati 1199 Panigale S.
