Ducati is making a big deal of the 4 bikes in 1 theme for the 2010 Ducati Multistrada 1200. Now at least one machine has bit the dust, literally, during the launch in the Canary Islands. Ouch! Proof that just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.

The Ducati 1198 is hardly known as having a wimpy mid-range but it sure looks that way when compared to the dyno chart for the new 2010 Ducati Multistrada 1200. Newly released factory dyno charts indicate that the new Multi kills the 1198 at the bottom end as was expected given its milder cam timing. The Multistrada 1200 is shaping up to have a killer engine for the road!
