Mladin Does it with a Whimper Mat Mladin wrapped up his 7th and last AMA Superbike win with a 2nd and 9th in the two races this weekend. Josh Hayes won both races for Yamaha and Larry Pegram finished 12th and 4th.

Pegram Takes the Double, Moves into 3rd in the Series! Team Foremost Ducati’s Larry Pegram made it a double by taking the win in race 2 of the AMA American Superbike Championship round at Heartland Park, Topeka today catapulting him to 3rd in the series standings.

Ducati’s, Larry Pegram, took advantage of Mat Mladin’s decision to not race at Topeka this weekend by taking first blood in the opening practice session. Pegram powered his Foremost Ducati 1098R around the circuit in 1’36, 0.4 second faster than Aron Yates’s Suzuki GSX-R1000. Source: Road Racing World

This coming weekend marks the seventh round of the AMA Pro Racing American Superbike Championship; held in conjunction with the United States Grand Prix. Ducati Corse’s MotoGP squad has flown over to participate in the World Championship event, enabling Pegram to shine in front of the 1098 R’s Bolognese fabricators.
