A post on a Ducati forum provides fresh evidence that the new Ducati Power Cruiser alternatively dubbed the Mega Monster or Vyper is powered by the same Testastretta 11º V-twin as Ducati’s new Multistrada 1200.

In what would seem a miraculous state of affairs, Valentino Rossi will return to MotoGP racing this weekend at the Sachsenring for the German round of the series just 42 days after breaking his tibia in a compound fracture during practice for the Mugello round pending approval by MotoGP’s Chief Medical Officer.

As part of Cycle World’s “10 Best” awards, which have been given annually since 1976, the title of “Best Open Streetbike” is one of the most desirable accolades in the entire motorcycle industry.
