End of the Road

end of the road End of the Road

So if you read this site with any regularity you couldn’t have helped but notice that there hasn’t been much going on since the end of 2013.  Sorry about that.  The fact is it became more and more difficult to dedicate the time to keep investing in Ducati News Today and the quality was slipping as a result.

About that same time I seemed to inexplicably lose access to Ducati Press releases which made it even easier to just decide to stop.  So there you have it.  I may still post on the site from time to time but more often than not the ideas I have for posts never get around to being translated into bits and bytes.

I really enjoyed the journey that was Ducati News Today and I want to thank you all for reading, commenting and linking to my content. Over the past 5 years this site has posted almost 2,000 times so there is plenty to explore in the back catalogue if you have the inclination.

Thanks a bunch and happy riding.

  4. It has been a great ride with you Mark. All the best with your next project.

  5. Thats real sad… being a moderate Ducati fan this was the website i’d check once in a while for news. I really liked the way posts would come up and of course the way content was exposed.
As said, good luck for your next project

  6. Merci, merci mille fois (thank you very much).

Je consultais régulièrement votre site, les news y étaient très interressantes.

Bon courage pour la suite. (good luck for your next project)

    FORZA DUCATI !

  7. SEEYA!! The site was garbage anyway!!

  8. Mark, thank you for all the efforts and countless hours you’ve put into this excellent website. It’s sad to see it all end but I’m the first to understand that it’s difficult or near impossible to combine one’s passion with the demands of everyday life in a satisfactory way. I wish you all the best and good luck with what you’ve planned next.

As for Bazerko’s comment I guess most of us regulars know all too well it isn’t Ducati News Today that’s garbage. However, comments like yours, Bazerko…

  9. Thanks so much for your efforts- yours was my go to site for anything Ducati
related! Best of luck to you!

  10. Sad news. I liked The site a lot. Being a Ducati rider in The past and now living on Curacao where it is impossible to ride a Ducati, I always checked out your site for my weekly Ducati vitamines . Thank you for your time, effort and quality images and stories.

A little bit more succes on The racing front would be more motivating as Well.

    Any way a big Thanks.

  11. Thanks!
I think I’ve seen all the content over the years and I’ve enjoyed all of it.

  12. Dear Mark
I will miss your site, I really really will. You got us informed, delivering so much background information and in my opinion deep thought columns. Tahnk you so much for all the years and I am not sure if I will find adequate replacement in the web to transplant my bleeding Ducati heart.

Good luck with your next project – keep us informed what you are up to.

  13. Hi Mark,

Sorry to see anything Ducati enthusiast website go way. We at DucCutters will miss reading your news, but then again we fully understand some the difficulties. We also stop receiving Ducati’s press releases for some reason, then we also got dropped as a DOC club. Please keep in touch!

    Best regards,
    Bill
