Oz Ducati Multistrada Experience Deemed a Success

MR 12.6.12 ME Oz Ducati Multistrada Experience Deemed a Success

Ducati Australia hosted the inaugural Multistrada Experience on 25‐27th May 2012. Over 85 Multistrada owners and 95 participants descended onto Mount Seaview on the Oxley Highway, a renowned riding destination, for some old fashioned Ducati fun both on and off the bike.

Warren Lee, CEO remarked on the occasion “The inaugural Multistrada Experience has been a huge success and I’d like to extend my sincere thanks once again to everyone who came with just one thing on their mind, to have fun. The Multistrada, thanks to its all‐roads design, is a motorcycle that inspires you to travel, explore and to seek new experiences including of course meeting and making new friends. Our weekend together was all this and more and, like everyone else, we can’t wait until M.E. 2013.”

The weekend long event, held at a location that can only be described as one of northern New South Wales’ best kept secrets, was a riding experience open to only one type of Ducati motorcycle – the Multistrada, one of Ducati’s most versatile and capable models. The weekend provided opportunity for owners to interact and learn more about their Multistrada from Ducati technicians, had a competition or two making for some great fun, as well as relaxing around the fire watching some great classic motorcycle movies in the evenings.

As always, the focus and true enjoyment was found on the great roads in the mid‐ north coast region, especially the Oxley Highway with over 250 corners in just one 45km section. The riding route for the event, including some dirt and gravel roads, was crafted by Ducati staffers familiar with the area, providing great variation for those on the Multistrada 1200.

With the all‐encompassing roads utilising the best of all four riding modes the 1200 has to offer: Sport, Touring, Urban, and Enduro; also allowing riders to ideally transform their bike while on the move with the simple push of a button. The overwhelmingly positive feedback and comments received from all participants confirmed that Ducati Australia has created and delivered another winning event. The only question left at the end of the weekend was – when is the next Multistrada Experience?
