A Gift Wrapped Ducati for Christmas
If Santa rode a motorcycle he’d base his workshop in California rather than the North Pole. Pro Italia decided to do some Santa style gift wrapping of their own on a Ducati Multistrada 1200. Check out the video of the job after the jump.
Gift wrapping a motorcycle is no small job. It took Tammy Hilton and Karen Rickman six hours to make this masterpiece.
“Tammy actually found a photo of a bike online that someone had wrapped, so we decided to do it,” Rickman says. “We were trying to come up with something for the window that had a big impact and didn’t cost a whole lot of money.”

The work certainly had impact. The display lasted just two days when Alex decided he wanted to buy the candy stripe packaged Ducati and unwrapped it.
“The whole plan was, we were going to wrap the bike and put it on our Facebook page and write something really funny like ‘We offer gift-wrapping,” Rickman says. “And we had planned on doing two, but it took a bit too long.”
Pro Italia will now put huge bows on their bikes since the gift wrapping department can’t keep up with the sales department!
