Ducati Gulf Oil Special
The Gulf Oil paint scheme and the Martini racing one both look great on motorcycles but this Ducati special was built by a guy who actually has the rights to use the official livery. A builder of Ford GT40 replicas, Johann Keyser turned his hand to two wheels for this project.
The hot looking custom is a parts bin special utilizing a 749S frame, a 2-valve 900ie engine and a swingarm from a Monster S4R. The forks and wheels come from a 916 and the tank is a modified 999 unit. And the final result is clearly far more than the sum of its parts.
