  1. Is this a joke?

$17,995 for a base model 1199 in the US but $26,990 in Australia and the exchange rate is the same! That’s $8,000 more in Australia!

$23995 for 1199 S with ABS in the US but $10,000 more in Australia at $33,990.

A Tri-Colour will cost you $27,995 in the US and $49,990 in Australia. That’s $12,000 more expensive in Australia!

I don’t care how you or Ducati Australia try and spin it, bullshit is still bullshit. And that’s what Aussies have been fed by Ducati in this country for too many years.

  2. The US has much lower pricing of almost any product you can name so Ducati is certainly not unique in this respect. I guess it all depends on your perspective. A base 1199 with ABS is about $12K less than a 1198SP, strikes us as a relative bargain.

By contrast pricing in the US has increased compared to the outgoing 1198

  3. Disgusted got one thing wrong, the price gap on the tricolour is 22000. Do you seriously expect that people are THAT stupid. We may be a small market but that’ll only get smaller treating us like this.
