It’s Been One Year Today Since We’ve Seen This

rossi thumb.podium.1 original Its Been One Year Today Since Weve Seen ThisExactly one year ago today Valentino Rossi took victory in MotoGP on a Yamaha M1 in Sepang, Malaysia. As you can see he was very happy indeed since it was his first victory in 9 races. Rossi had won the opening race of the season in Qatar only to crash out and badly break his leg during practice for the Mugello event.

A 9 race victory drought in of itself was a long time between drinks for Rossi who in previous seasons only rarely went any longer than 3 MotoGPs between standing on the top step. Then he switched to Ducati for 2011. It has been 1 year and 18 MotoGPs since Vale won a race. How much longer will it continue?
