Marco Simoncelli Dies Following Crash at Sepang

MotoGP star Marco Simoncelli lost this life today after succumbing to injuries resulting from a crash on the second lap of the Sepang MotoGP race in Malaysia. The race was subsequently cancelled. The Ducati MotoGP team has released a statement which we reproduce after the jump.
