Troy Bayliss Experience 1 thumb Troy Bayliss Says Not to Worry about Ducati 1199 PanigaleIt took less than 140 characters for 3 time World Superbike Champion and Ducati legend, Troy Bayliss, to reassure Ducatisti about the new 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale.

For those concerned that the aluminum monocoque chassis might imbue the Superbike with the same lack of front end feel issues that plague the Ducati Desmosedici Troy had this to say in his Twitter feed.

“Been a while but anyone worried about the new Ducati Superbike need not, matched my best time ever in the arvo when track is bit slower.”

Troy has been helping in the development of the 1199 Panigale and rode the bike at Mugello today. He issued a teaser video recently immediately ahead of the Ducati announcement of the Panigale name for the new model.  Troy went on to mention that is was ‘still early but in street form nothing will come close’
