The 14th round of the 2011 MotoGP World Championship saw Valentino Rossi debut yet another version of the Ducati Desmosedici, this time featuring some aluminum in the GP11.1 chassis. Since this modification meant that his older engines couldn’t be used, he took a 7th engine and thus became the first rider to run foul of the engine limit rules requiring him to start the race from pit lane. Valentino managed a 10th place finish whilst Nicky Hayden managed to finish 3 places further ahead.
Electricity and Gas producer Enel, one of the team sponsors supplied these shots from the Aragon MotoGP round in Spain.
