Celebrity Chef Takes Ducati Diavel Delivery
Australian celebrity chef and owner of ARIA restaurants, Matt Moran, excitedly took delivery of his Ducati Diavel late last week at his Sydney home. The longtime Ducati owner will become a Ducati Ambassador.
“My first thought at seeing my Diavel was that it looked exquisite and the first ride was the most exhilarating I’ve ever had on a bike. The power was just immense and then to have ABS braking and traction control is just out of this world. Riding the Ducati Diavel is just sublime” – says Moran of his newly acquired toy.
Matt’s first bike was given to him at age five by his father and the celebrity chef has been riding ever since; “every boy who grows up with an interest in bikes dreams about being an ambassador for Ducati. I believe them to be the best bikes in the world and it is such a privilege, and dream come true, becoming their ambassador” he says.
Equally as excited Ducati is ready to see Matt out on the road, enjoying his Diavel.

Matt Moran, is co-owner and head chef of the awarded ARIA Restaurants in Sydney and Brisbane and in early 2012 will open a relaxed, informal restaurant in Woollahra (Sydney) with a menu that showcases produce from the on premise vegetable and herb garden. While Matt’s main focus is his restaurants he also enjoys sharing his experience and knowledge to the public through the media, be it on television, including the hugely successful Network 10 program MasterChef and Junior MasterChef, but also on radio and in print.
Matt found his passion for Ducati many years ago, his new Diavel has been lined up right next to his 1098 Superbike.
