Ducati Issues Third Diavel Recall

Ducati has issued its third recall in 5 months for its newest model, the Diavel, in the USA. In this modern world where we are all beta testers, new models often require recalls to update, replace or correct usually minor deficiencies.

The latest recall relates to the sidestand.

Ducati is recalling certain model year 2011 Diavel motorcycles manufactured from May 18, 2010, through June 13, 2011. The side stand was manufactured with insufficient material in the pivot area.

Earlier recalls centered around the chain guard and the electronic steering lock.
