Gorgeous Ducati TT2 Special

ducati racing 3 thumb Gorgeous Ducati TT2 SpecialJoan Antoni Fontquerni has transformed this already gorgeous Ducati TT2 into his own personal piece of beauty with some tasteful mods.

In 1981 Ducati introduced the 600 Pantah roadbike and the TT2 racer which featured the same stroke (the 600 Pantah basically acted to homologate the racer’s engine). the TT2 claimed 4 World Formula TTF2 titles with Tony Rutter. Later a TT1 was produced with a 750cc engine. The longer stroke needed was once again homologated by producing another Pantah, this time the ultimate 650 version.

ducati racing thumb Gorgeous Ducati TT2 SpecialJoan’s bike has thicker Marzocchi M1Rs and 17″ wheels instead of the original 18s. The engine is now 750cc (so maybe this is now really a TT1). The bike weighs only 140kg (308lbs) so with an estimated 100bhp it should give a good account of itself at the classic track meets that it haunts.
