Ducati Supports Awesome Rider Safety Campaign
Ducati is supporting a fantastic motorcycle safety initiative created by the county of Sussex in the UK. Entitled ‘Stay A Hero, Stay Safe’ the campaign is aimed at reducing the number of motorcyclists casualties on Sussex’s roads each year. Check out the positive and uplifting video after the jump.
Almost a quarter of all individuals killed and seriously injured on the roads in Sussex are riding a motorcycle – a massive over-representation when you consider that motorcycles only account for around 5% of vehicles on the road there.
The Sussex Safer Roads Partnership worked with Writer/Director Daniel Cox and Producer Sarah Alexander of Alexander Commercials to create ‘Stay A Hero’ (click here for a full list of credits), with the express aim of developing something more than the standard biker safety ad.
The narrative is both inspirational and uplifting showing the powerful modeling impact adults’ behaviors have on their children and reminding us of the richness of our lives that comes from our children reinforcing the value and importance of making safe choices whilst riding our motorcycles.
Ducati UK have put their weight behind the campaign. The video is on the Ducati UK site and is also playing in every dealership. Ducati UK also recently announced the creation of the Ducati Rider Training scheme.
Ducati News Today congratulates the Sussex Roads Partnership on an excellent, positive initiative.
