Ducati Assen MotoGP Photogallery
The 7th round of the 2011 MotoGP World Championship saw Valentino Rossi debut an Evo version of his Ducati MotoGP machine dubbed the GP11.1. Featuring a 2012 chassis, hopes were high for an immediate improvement in fortune but Vale could only qualify 11th for the Dutch TT. In the race he faired better finishing 4th, benefitting from Marco Simoncelli crashing yet again and taking out Jorge Lorenzo. Nicky Hayden finished 5th. Electricity and Gas producer Enel, one of the team sponsors supplied these shots from the Assen round in the Netherlands. Check them out after the jump.
