MotoGP to Investigate Race Marshals
Following the collision between Valentino Rossi and Casey Stoner during the MotoGP race of the Spanish Grand Prix on 3 April in Jerez, the Race Direction has decided to organize a hearing with the Clerk of the Course and the Chief Marshal in order to review the incident and to hear the explanation of the officials in charge.
Stoner had complained that the marshals rallied around Valentino to get him going (he held in the clutch during the crash and the engine did not stop) whilst they refused to push start him, an exercise made more difficult with the new Honda gearbox fitted to the Repsol Honda.
Due to the fact that the final decision of the Race Direction will not affect the result of the race, the hearing will be organized on Thursday 28 April in Estoril, Portugal.

Oh Dear, Stoner throwing his toys out the pram again. He wants to grow up or take defeat like a real racer should.
Not relevant to the topic but I couldn’t find where else to ask: How about throwing out a prediction as to when the Monster 1100 evo is going to hit the dealerships state side. I’m getting antsy and seeing that I’m way too far from a midlife crisis the “Diavel” is not my cup of espresso!!!
@Diane Cooper..you are such a moron and clearly didnt see the race. Stoner has legit gripe. All 7 of them rushed around Rossi to help him and push him off leaving Stoner alone and helpless. It doe NOT take 7 marshals to start up a racer.
