Ducati has finally got onto the Apple iOS bandwagon and released their own App for the iPhone just in time for the start of the 2011 MotoGP World Championship. It is free and offers news, calendar, results and wallpapers and videos of current models.

Valentino Rossi concluded the first day of the final MotoGP test at the Losail circuit in Qatar as fastest Ducati and three quarters of a second off the fastest of the HRC Hondas, this time in the hands of Dani Pedrosa. Rossi also survived his first Ducati crash without incident.

34 years after Cook Neilson won the AMA Superbike race at Daytona, Ducati has finally won the big race that has eluded it. Jason DiSalvo and Team Latus Motors Racing took the new Ducati 848EVO to victory in yesterday’s Daytona 200- the bike’s first professional road race.
