Ducati – There’s an App for That
Ducati has finally got onto the Apple iOS bandwagon and released their own App for the iPhone just in time for the start of the 2011 MotoGP World Championship. It is free and offers news, calendar, results and wallpapers and videos of current models.
Ducati have some big claims for the app.

A quick review reveals the app is functional but lacking the aesthetic style that both Apple and Ducati deserve. Content is mostly repackaged from the Ducati.com website. A nice touch is some video and wallpaper content featuring the current product range but to find it you need to navigate to More -> Ducati World which is hardly intuitive. Still it is free and a 1.0 product. Let’s see if it steadily improves over time.
The Ducati Corse app is compatible with iPhone (3G or later), iPod Touch and iPad. It requires iOs 4.2 or later. Get it from the Apple App Store.
