Valentino Rossi in a Ducati JacketWith the Yamaha gag order finally extinguished, Valentino Rossi was seen for the first time yesterday in Ducati red, posing for photographs with team-mate Nicky Hayden. The pair are at the Wrooom MotoGP Press Ski Meeting, Madonna di Campiglio (Trento, Italy) where Rossi will be able to speak publicly about the Ducati Desmosedici for the first time.

Today the event will feature rider press conferences featuring Ducati MotoGP Team riders Nicky Hayden and, of course, new boy Vale. On Wednesday we can expect to see the unveiling of the Ducati GP11.

Valentino Rossi in a Ducati JacketFerrari’s Formula 1 drivers will have their turn on Thursday, and Friday is dedicated to the spectacular car and kart exhibition, which is open to the public and stars the teams’ drivers and riders on the town’s frozen lake. It is not known whether Rossi, who is recovering from planned shoulder surgery will participate in these events. Valentino first rode the Ducati at the post season tests in Valencia late last year but was unable to comment on the experience since he was still under contract with Yamaha.
