Ducati Models You’ve Never Seen

Ducati Sogno microcamera thumb1 Ducati Models Youve Never SeenYou admire the stylish lines of your Ducati (or the one that you covet) but Ducati has produced many other products over the years that you likely have never heard of let alone seen that incorporate that very same brand of Italian flair. Thanks to the skills and access of our friend Phil Aynsley, you can feast your eyes on many of them after the jump.

Ducati today stands for Authentic Italian Performance but motorcycles came relatively late to the company after it was founded as a manufacturer of radio components in 1926. The very first motorcycle application was after World War II when the company fell into Government control. The Cucciolo (‘Puppy’) motor was designed to be attached to a bicycle frame to provide simple and cheap transport for the post war populace. In between those humble beginnings and the mighty Ducati Desmosedici were many products that span an incredible array of classes, such as a diesel stationary engine, cameras, outboard motors, shaver, radios and well you get the idea.

See more of these fantastic Ducati products over on Phil Aynsley’s site.

  1. Hi,

You have 3 pics of the same camera posted! Not what you planed I assume?

    All good otherwise – thanks!

    cheers,

    Phil

  2. @Phil No, I didn’t want 3 photos of the camera but I can’t work out how to stop WordPress adding these on to the media gallery whenever I add an opening photo to the post. Anyone know how to stop this?
