Ducati has announced that it will return to supporting grass roots racing once again in the USA with the 2011 848EVO Club Racing Support Program. The program pays contingency as well as offering special pricing in the areas of bike purchase and a dedicated race kit.

Ducati North America has been been sued in a class action over persistent issues related to its use of plastic gas tanks as fitted to almost all current Ducati models by a Florida owner of a 2009 Ducati 1198.

Ducati have confirmed pricing in the US for the new Diavel Power Cruiser. The base model will be $16,995 whilst the black Diavel Carbon will be priced at $19,995. The most expensive variant will be the Carbon “Red” version at $20,395.

The Ducati Diavel was seen for the first time in the US at the beginning of the show circuit with the Dallas Progressive International motorcycle show on November 12th. The new model also stole the show at the pre-show event opening of the AMS Performance Store.
