Ducati Refines 2011 Multistrada 1200
Ducati appears to have acted on customer feedback for the 2011 Ducati Multistrada 1200 just announced at the Intermot show in Cologne, Germany. The changes are small but likely to be well received with some of them being offered to 2010 model year owners as a retrofit.
2011 models will feature updated fuel mapping and ABS electronics. Forum posts on the web have been quick to criticize a rough running glitch at low revs and also long stopping distances in the dry, thanks to an overly aggressive ABS system. New pannier latches for better sealing will also be a welcome addition. A new center stand for less intrusion when riding means you can go that much harder before it grounds!
In a move likely to please all current Multistrada 1200 owners, the software and bag latches will be offered to MY2010 owners as a no-cost upgrade.
