At Indianapolis this weekend there were further signs that Jeremy Burgess and the entire Rossi crew will join Valentino at Ducati next year. Yamaha has pressured the crew chief for an answer and so the announcement is likely to come at next weekend’s San Marino MotoGP at Misano.

Ducati has announced that Nicky Hayden has re-signed with the Italian manufacturer for two more seasons with the Marlboro Ducati MotoGP team. This is a just reward for his tremendous efforts to overcome a disastrous first season with a much improved effort in 2010.

In a shock move, Ducati has announced today that it will withdraw the factory team in World Superbikes in 2011 and instead focus on developing the next generation of Superbike technology.

Marlboro Ducati’s Nicky Hayden is looking forward to this weekend’s Indianapolis MotoGP round. The second home meeting of the season for the American was the source of much joy last year, when he took 3rd position. The record books show that Nicky usually performs strongly in the USA.
