In a rather cryptic and unanticipated invitation to the motorcycling press, Ducati has announced plans to unveil a new model on Saturday, July 24th at the Ducati Island as part of the US round of the MotoGP series.
The invitation is brief and provides only scant details. Ducati promise the new model will have class-leading performance, that the unveiling will act as the world wide launch and perhaps critically, the event will be hosted by four very excited guests to whom this new model means quite a lot to. It almost certainly isn’t the Ducati Power Cruiser that Ducati have now acknowledged but won’t reveal until November. Last year Ducati revealed the Ducati 848 Nicky Hayden Edition. Hmmmm. Thinking caps on then.

Valentino Rossi 1198.
Wouldn’t that be nice, but Rossi won’t be working for Ducsti until next year and you’d want him to be at the unveiling wouldn’t you?

Whatever it is….its my new bike for next year at a better price.
If Nori & Michel show up in Monterey on their week off, I am going to be even more pissed than I already am that I’m not going this year.
