Not too soft, Not too Hard, Ducati Monster 796 is Just Right
The Ducati model range is proliferating so that we now have on the face of it 3 very similar Monsters, the baby 696, the grande 1100 and the new 796 in the middle. Is it just right? MCN seems to think so in the video after the jump.
Skip ahead to the 1:50 mark to get the short story. The bottom-line is that the 696 is best in town, the 1100 best on the open road with the 796 sitting right in the middle. So if you want to commute a bit then you might prefer the smoother power delivery and lighter clutch of the 796 whilst still enjoying the higher quality suspension elements of the Monster 1100.
