Riders for Health, MotoGP’s official charity will offer places on the 2-seat Ducati Desmosedici ridden by commentator and former 500GP racer, Randy Mamola.

We have all seen various celebrities hop on the Ducati 2-seater to get the thrill of their lives but now at Silverstone, anyone can have the chance for the ride of their lives.

The Ducati Desmosedici two-seater ride is a unique chance to complete a lap of one of the most famous racing circuits in the world. You will be one of the first people to take to the newly developed Silverstone circuit. This will be an experience like no other. This is the chance to ride a MotoGP bike piloted by Grand Prix hero and co-founder of Riders for Health, Randy Mamola.

Rides are available on Friday 18th, Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th June. So you can enjoy either of the two practice days or have your ride in front of a full race day crowd. Pricing is £2000 for Friday, £3000 for Saturday and £5000 on raceday Sunday ($3,050, $4,575 and $7,626 at current exchange rates). These prices include paddock passes, hospitality at Ducati for the passenger and one guest on the day of the ride.

Randy Mamola is considered one of the most talented racers never to win the 500cc World Championship. He finished runner up four times and won 13 races whilst standing on the podium 57 times. Randy is / was a character pulling wheelies and impressive stoppies on his bikes and having some amazing saves like the one below.



All the money raised from the sale of the rides goes directly to support Riders for Health work in Africa. Riders for Health is an award-winning social enterprise that works to make sure all health workers in Africa have access to reliable transportation so they can reach the most isolated and vulnerable people with regular and predictable health care.

    I’m shure the ride is awsome. But for that money i’dd rather search a second hand bike for circuit use.
    Still is for variuos celebrities imo ;-)

  2. Wow, that’s a lot more than I had heard. They did this at the first Indy MotoGP and we were hearing that it was in the $1,500 to 2,000 range. A track day bike and track days would be fun, but I think the real value here is the time you get to spend with Randy Mamola.

    I will always remember doing a Ride-for-kids two-up ride with Jason Pridmore at Mid-Ohio. Still to this day stands out as one of the most amazing things I’ve ever had the honor to do.
