Bayliss vs Stoner at Misano
As World Ducati week fast approaches, Ducati is rolling out more of the event details and one caught our eye. A drag race between Ducati World Superbike and MotoGP racers along with alumni such as Troy Bayliss will be a one of the highlights of the event with every rider on equal Ducati Streetfighters.
Nicky, Casey, Michel, Nori and the riders of the private Ducati team will battle it out, alongside test rider Franco Battaini, MotoGP team manager Vittoriano Guareschi and the great Troy Bayliss. The event will take place on the the Misano straight and riders will drag race Ducati Streetfighters and face immediate elimination!
This should be something to see as Ducati’s are hardly the most ideal of drag racers with their dry, grabby clutches and abundance of torque which makes them difficult to launch reliably and reproducibly.
