Ducati Desmosedici RR 800 Concept

Screen shot 2010 04 07 at 11 thumb.30.24 AM Ducati Desmosedici RR 800 ConceptThe Ducati Desmosedicic RR was nice but the 990cc V4 is obsolete and never won a MotoGP championship. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a replica of the bike Casey Stoner took to victory in 2007? You know, the 800cc über screamer. When MotoGP switches back to the big 1,000cc machines in 2012, we may get our chance. Sak_art design think so too, so they proposed this concept.

Continuing the exotica theme, the concept features the monocoque carbon fiber chassis and swingarm that has been the subject of a recent patent filing.

The 800cc screamer V4 would likely produce similar power as the 990cc version but even higher up the rev range, let’s say 15,000rpm, just for fun. A current model Ducati Desmosedici RR dyno chart is below care of Motorcyclist online.
