Sacrilege: Ducati Desmosedici Trike!
Artists of a motorcycling bent love to draw Ducati because, let’s face it, the evocative manufacturer has a certain je ne sais quoi! Nicolas Petit, is a French motorcycle mechanic by day and author of this Ducati Desmosedici RR Trike concept by night.
Normally when you think trike you think Honda Goldwing (or at least I do) but this one would be much more of a ball of fire than any Honda.
In his drawings, Nicolas doesn’t just take a D16 and add a two wheel front-end to it. Instead, he takes the Italian lines and design elements and extends those into thought process on how the trike would look if Ducati was responsible for its production. The result is a dead-sexy front end that looks like the cross between an ATV and a Formula1 car.
