Screen shot 2010 03 10 at 8 thumb.22.32 AM Oops I did it Again: Xaus Taking out HagaRuben Xaus didn’t race at the season opener of the 2010 World Superbike Championship at Phillip Island recently but he sure had an impact – literally. Xaus didn’t participate in either race after 3 practice crashes and this one, taking out Team Xerox factory Ducati 1198R rider, Noriyuki Haga in the morning warmup. Haga shrugged off the very high speed crash to take 3rd and 5th in the 2 races later that same day. Ruben, known for being hard on equipment (again, literally) is thought to be in a very delicate situation now with his employer BMW. The video is after the jump.
