Pre release sm thumb Team Ducshop Strives for Daytona 200 VictoryDucshop Racing will take on the daunting task of entering two Ducati 848s for the historic Daytona 200 AMA Pro Racing Daytona SportBike race at the famous Daytona International Speedway on March 5th. Riders Jake Holden and Dario Marchetti will compete in the 57-lap race on the Ducshop Ducatis.

A veteran of endurance racing, the team, competing as Touring Sport Ducshop Ducati Racing, won three consecutive AMA Moto-GT2 Championships. Ducati test rider Dario Marchetti is a former world endurance racer and Jake Holden has raced Daytona many times as an AMA factory supported rider.

The race will give Ducshop a chance to showcase several of its AMA homologated products, including the Ducshop Dual Link, Ducshop 30mm Off-set Triple Clamps and Microtec ECU. Ducshop is also working with Öhlins to test the suspension company’s new 848 30mm cartridge kit.

To win the Daytona 200 is a life-long dream of Ducshop founder Mark Sutton. As a former AMA Ducati team manager and engine builder, he is no stranger to the grueling 200-mile race and knows strategy and preparation are the key to success.
