Proof that Ducati is Art

ducati 998r reassembly l 03 2 thumb Proof that Ducati is ArtDucatis are motorcycles that stir the soul. Sometimes it can be hard to pin down exactly what it is that makes these machines so special, but ducatisti know it when they come across it. For me just the other day it was the bone shaking thunder of my termignoni equipped Monster S4Rs springing to life after a month in the cold. For others it is slowly and painstakingly re-building the ultimate Tamburini designed Ducati, the limited edition 998R. I was so moved I made a video from the pictures and put it to music.

When you rebuild something you make it better so this 998R has a Pierobon 998RS Chrome Moly frame, a hand made aluminum 23 liter tank and a genuine magnesium World Superbike swingarm. It truly is a beautiful build!


This bike is owned by Sten, the same man who has a Factory Ducati 999F06 for sale if you are interested.

  3. My dream is to find a long forgotten 916 in an old barn and con the widow out of it for a song. Your video and music make me want that more than ever. I have been riding for 45 years on every brand of bike and Ducati I feel is the only one that Michelangelo would stop and admire…Arrivederci

    I have 89000 TX miles on a 2006 MTS1000ds Multistrada in 2yrs and 7mths. Hope to hit 100k before Multi 1200 hits the show rooms.
