Ducati News Today

After kicking around the idea for a site dedicated to Ducati for awhile, I can’t quite believe I actually got off my butt and started it, and what’s more, a whole year has gone by already! Yes, that’s right. Ducati News Today turns 1 today!!

Over the past year the site has had 426 posts in 15 categories with 111 tags. More to the point there has been a great dialog with Ducati fans all over the world with 335 comments as well as scores of emails back and forth.

Visitors read the site from 167 countries with the USA making up just under 50% of visits and then Australia, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and Greece making up the top 10 countries and 80% of all visits. Where people live is interesting too. Syndey is the number one city just edging out London and New York.

What were some of the most popular posts of the last year? Predictably rumors were popular with the best spy shots of the 2010 Ducati Multistrada leading the way by a clear margin. Rumors that didn’t amount to anything (yet) included the Ducati Vyper Power Cruiser and a Ducati Scooter. Ducati 1198S wallpaper was a crowd pleaser too as was one of the first ride reports on the Ducati 848. A highly modified Ducati Streetfighter also garnered plenty of attention.

But what of the first ever post? Well that was a review of my very own Ducati Monster S4Rs. Thanks to everyone who reads Ducati News Today. I appreciate everyone of you. Here’s to a great second year!!
