Movie star, motorcycle fan and card carrying Scientology nut, Tom Cruise, was caught recently taking his Ducati Desmosedici RR out for a spin. Cruise was reputably the first American to receive the über Ducati in 2008.
Cruise, whose star has waned in recent years, starred as fighter pilot ‘Maverick’ in the movie Top Gun, where he rode a Kawasaki Ninja. Ducati has been involved in heavy product placement in recent years with Ducatis featuring in the recent Terminator Salvation (Hypermotard) and the upcoming Wall Street 2 (Streetfighter) and Knight and Day.
