Wallpaper Wednesday: 1990 Ducati 907 I.E
Welcome to Wallpaper Wednesday. Every week I will post up something beautiful from the world of Ducati that you just might like to have grace your desktop. This week we have one of oddball machines, the 1990 Ducati 907 I.E Sport Tourer.
The Ducati Paso of 1986 was a radical departure for the company, the full coverage fairing, and more relaxed ergonomics not something the average sportbike obsessed Ducati fan was ready for. It was also a flawed motorcycle with it’s automotive Weber carburetor and 16″ wheels. By the time the 907 I.E debuted with 17″ wheels and fuel injection derived from the seminal Ducati 851 the motorcycle was finally good but Ducati fans still didn’t warm to it and it sold poorly even though comparison tests at the time showed it as a credible alternative to Honda’s VFR750
