Finally Help is at Hand for Carbon Fetishists everywhere as long as they are well healed. Rever Corsa offers this Ducati 1198 Nero Strada, dripping in carbon fiber and other goodies for $57,500 and you can step up to the race only Corsa for just $140,000 (gulp).
The bikes are built to order and the array of options is mind boggling. The focus is on appearance as the engine remains largely stock save for a full exhaust system and performance ECU and air filter. Predictably almost everything can be had in carbon fiber but the parts used also stretch to top shelf Ohlins FGRT 803 forks and DU788 TTX shock.
All this results in an estimated 29lb (13kg) weight saving that should noticeably boost performance. Boost of another kind is in the works in the form of a supercharger kit that produces 200bhp.
