As part of the promotion for the impending Blu-Ray and DVD release of the latest installment in the Terminator series, Terminator Salvation, Warner Brothers are giving away a Ducati Hypermotard 796!

For those who haven’t seen the movie, one of the bad guys is the MotoTerminator, a Skynet controlled motorcycle based on the Ducati Hypermotard 1100. You can see some of the behind the scenes footage below.

The Hypermotard 796 is the baby brother to the 1100 and was recently launched ahead of the EICMA show in Milan. The 796 weighs in at just 167kg (368lb), 12kg (27lb) lighter than it’s bigger brother. Ducati claims the engine is completely new and it produces 81hp (59.6kW) of power and 55.7lb-ft (7.7kgm) of torque.

The competition to win a Hypermotard 796 is open to US residents over the age of 18 and closes midnight Eastern time on December 5th with the draw expected around December 8th, just in time for Christmas. You can enter as often as once per day per valid email address but you need to create a free ESPN account which means your information will be shared with both Warner Brothers and Ducati.
